Jesus-Loving, Grace-Giving, Dedicated Learners
Middle School Grades 6-8
Immanuel’s Christ-centered, differentiated, and comprehensive middle school curriculum is tailored to prepare your student for success in high school and beyond. Immanuel Lutheran middle school focuses on balancing the whole student—spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Personal Growth & Achievement
Immanuel middle schoolers learn personal responsibility, accountability, and Christian character daily in a grace-filled environment. Teachers facilitate active engagement through challenging learning experiences. Students develop strong oral and written communication skills, learn to identify, and creatively solve real-world problems, and believe they can make a difference for the good.

Immanuel teaches a Bible-based curriculum, while welcoming students and their families from all faiths and backgrounds. Moral and faith issues are integrated throughout the day.
Religion classes are part of the curriculum and daily routine for all grades at Immanuel. Middle school students learn about the history of Christianity and the core values behind Biblical teachings. They learn to apply it to the world they will face after middle school and how to respond when their faith is tested. Additionally, all K-8 students worship together during weekly chapel services on Wednesday afternoons. Parents and families are invited to attend chapel as well. Learn more here.

All classes go on field trips throughout the year. Middle school students are also invited to attend week-long trips to Walcamp, SEACAMP San Diego, or West Virginia. Parent chaperones are invited to attend. Learn more about class trips here.

Modern technology enhances the middle school experience at Immanuel by providing interactive learning tools that engage students and foster their curiosity in an increasingly digital world. Middle school students participate in "Tech Time" each week in which they learn how to use digital programs that they will use in high school and beyond. Chromebooks are provided to each student for use in class and at home, and classrooms are equipped with smart boards.
